Quality Manager


Job Purpose:

Assures consistent quality of testing services, engineering design, and manufacturing by developing and enforcing procedures in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 quality management system.


Essential Duties:

  • Develop and maintain the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system with MTS management team and consultants
  • Generate and update procedures and work instructions to conform to ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
  • Manage continued certification process of facility to ISO 9001:2015
  • Manage quality audits from all customers
  • Conduct training on company procedures and document these records
  • Involved in maintaining calibration of all equipment and records
  • Document and investigate customer complaints
  • Document and investigate non-conformances; implement corrective actions


Additional Duties:

  • Achieves quality objectives by contributing information and analysis to strategic plans
  • Preparing and completing action plans
  • Implementing productivity, quality, and customer-service standards
  • Identifying and resolving problems; implementing change
  • Prepares quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends including failed processes, stability studies, validations
  • Develops quality assurance plans by conducting hazard analyses; identifying critical control points and preventive measures; establishing critical limits, monitoring procedures, corrective actions, and verification procedures; monitoring inventories
  • Provide support as a technician in the lab during periods of high activity



  • Minimum Required - 6 years related experience and/or training in the quality field
  • Minimum Recommended - Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
  • Recommended - Process Improvement, Analyzing Information, Strategic Planning, Verbal Communication, Informing Others, Attention to Detail, Thoroughness, Dealing with Complexity
